Embedded Firmware Engineer

Top Vision is a well established company in the production of electronic Public Informational Systems. The R&D team is looking for a talented, Embedded Firmware Engineer to join their team.

As Firmware Engineer you will be part of the R&D department team whose mission is to develop and maintain electronic devices in a wide range of applications, including among others , large scale digital displays, Sensors and Control.

What will you will do:

• You will be responsible for developing, implementing and rolling-out new firmware releases for devices designed by our hardware engineers.
• You will debug improve and update firmware on produced devices.
• You will perform system tests. ( Firmware and Hardware )
• During your involvement in high-profile product development projects, you will contribute towards program goals, ensuring schedules are met and products are meeting their scope.
• You will develop C code for embedded systems with focus on low-power applications. You will work hand-in-hand with the R&D team, while having access to expert technical guidance by experienced engineers.

What do you need to apply:

• 5+ years of experience in embedded firmware development.
• Expert on C programming in an embedded firmware context.
• Practical knowledge of PIC32MX/MZ or/and STM32 micro-controllers is highly advantageous.
• Experience in embedded testing and debugging.
• Experience in scripting. Python knowledge is highly desirable.
• Ability to identify and take ownership of issues, and drive them to resolution.
• Excellent English communication skills is a must.
• BSc in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or related field
