§ Developing and executing formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications

The jobholder will be responsible for
§ Developing and execute formal test plans to ensure the delivery of quality software applications
§ Working with Development and Business community to define the scope of testing required
§ Designing test cases in terms of functional checks described in the documentation relating to project to be tested
§ Participating in test planning, writing test design executions and preparing scripts of integration test execution
§ Testing may include system integration test, regression and user acceptance testing
§ Testing monitoring of test environment readiness, testing case execution and defect information
§ Designing, executing and validating stress test scenarios of high seasonal demand
§Bachelor’s Degree/Certifications in Information Technology
§2+ years of related Technical experience
§Prior working experience in System Integration, Regression, & User Acceptance Testing
§Prior experience in Testing Visa & MasterCard simulator and knowledge of POS & Base24
§Previous IT development experience, preferably in the banking related sector (Core banking host systems, Issuing & Acquiring) will be considered as a plus
§Previous experience in card management systems and solutions, frameworks will be considered as an asset
§Prior programming experience using Java & Oracle technology stack and/or Cobol will be considered as a plus
§Knowledge and proven experience of MS SQL queries
§Very good command of English language
§ Working effectively with others within a team environment while enhancing a positive atmosphere
§ Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
§ Ability to work independently with management and technical groups within the functions they support
§ Good understanding of the key processes in the business and the business rules that impact the development and/or implementation of information systems
