... create a “Competence Centre” in Athens aiming to address the card business development activities for the SIA Group, to provide “best in class” card processing services in Greece and other European countries via the usage of the HPS PowerCARD suite.
For our new dedicated PowerCARD Centre of Excellence in Athens we are currently are looking for a Systems Requirement Analystin order to strengthen our IT Development Department.
The jobholoder will be responsible for:
§Serving as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the software development team through which requirements flow
§Developing requirements specifications according to guidelines
§Understanding software development lifecycle and payments processing
§Taking part in sessions/ meetings in order to better understand business needs and be able to document them
§Eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
§Translating business needs into functional and non-functional requirements for the IT organization, and manages changes to such requirements
§Working in cooperation with various teams in the IT organization such as developers, architects test analysts and project managers
§Performing additional job duties as required
§Working on moderately complex projects with moderate to high breadth of responsibility
§ At least 1 year of related experience preferable within the Banking industry
§ Bachelor’s Degree (a master’s Degree will be considered an advantage) on following subjects: Computer science/information technology, information management systems, business information systems, electrical/electronic engineering, mathematics or science
§ Practical experience in business analysis and specifications for new or modified systems
§ Knowledge of the Card industry (Issuing, acquiring, POS, payment schemes) will be considered an asset
§ Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft Project
§ Excellent command of English language
§ Working effectively with others in a team environment while enhancing a positive atmosphere
§ Strong ability to interpret a business need and evaluate all options to identify potential solutions
§ Excellent communication, problem solving and decision making skills. Customer oriented perception

More specifically, the job holder:
Translates business needs into advanced capabilities and best practices based on best in class standard packages and creates corresponding functional requirements as an input to application design
Proposes solutions, configures the system and writes detailed functional specification of WRICEFs
Coordinates the execution of projects with the development teams in order to make sure the technical developments match the functional requirements of the systems and ensure quality is respected (Conduct functional Unit Tests and String Tests)

Supports Integration Tests and UAT

Provides day to day functional support, application administration & troubleshooting (L3 – L4) for all European Operating Companies in scope, in the context of the overall Operational Support Organization in place, in liaison with the vendor support organization
Follows applicable standards, procedures, guidelines and methodologies in the implementation and/or maintenance of the SAP Retail platform
Leads and supervises the work assigned to the team’s internal and external resources and partners with peers when integrating functionalities across applications and/or modules
Monitors & analyses technology trends in own area which could provide a benefit & improve capabilities for the business and support Strategy or Regional Roadmap
